In this final episode, I finally reached the empress who has been behind this whole situation, I face a choice, leave Amari to be raised by her, kept alive by the Vitae at the expense of who knows how many suffering. Steal her back an escape knowing that her life is doomed. Or, take down the empress and end the suffering of all the people here.

In this final episode, I complete ‘The Throne Room’ Level.

Finally, after exploring caves, navigating the other world and facing monsters, I get a portal back to the village for help. Just in time too, as shortly after arriving, Tasi starts to begin labour. After making it the village and giving birth. I find myself heading back once more into the other world to ascend the empress tower and finally learn the deal I was offered.

In this episode, I have to navigate through the remains of a factory and avoid the wraiths hunting for me in order to make it back to the rift home. I also acquire a device to inject the shadows red flesh into the Vitae streams.

Bad news, Amari, the baby, isn’t well. We can help her but it will involve some disturbing means to do so. I encounter a new monster – The Wraith – and get a little tour of a factory of pain via a tram.

Well the portal didn’t work as it should, and I find myself back on the alien world in some sort of medical theatre. After working out how to power it up. I discover some shocking news about the baby

Well, I’m back with the Leydon Jars and ready to power up the portal and head back to safety. Simple right? Alas the shadow has other ideas and gate-crashes my plans, burying me in rubble. Instead I have to navigate a huge Ghoul/Harvester nest in order to get back to the portal and back to safety.

After a failed attempt to start the portal. I need to find another power source. So I head down below into the pleasantly named Hunting Grounds in search of another Leyden Jar. I meet up with a couple of other the survivors. Leon, who’s now looking a bit worst for ware. And Richard, who we have a minor disagreement with.

In this episode, I’ve made it to a large Portal chamber, that hopefully I can use to get back to the village. Just need to use my existing knowledge to make it work. First job is aligning some pillars so they provide focused energy to the orb. I also find the remains of Daniels (From The Dark Descent) expedition to retrieve one of the orbs

Still in the lab, I have to finish figuring out how to use the teleporter to get out of the lab and gain access to a bridge home. I find myself in an old tomb before encountering an old friend from The Dark Descent, The shadow is back and its pissed with me. I have to make a daring escape

This episode finishes the remains of ‘The Alchemist Chambers’ level and also completes ‘The Tomb of Tin Hinan’ level.

After getting to the bottom of the Cistern, I head into the light, to be once again guided by my glowing friend and I’m lead out into an oasis. After having a remote consultation with the doctor via radio, I make my way towards a village in the distance singled by smoke. Thing go pear shaped when I managed to find myself falling through the desert floor and back into the other world.

This episode finishers off what left of ‘The Cistern’ level, we also complete ‘The Oasis’ and make a start on ‘The Alchemist Chambers’ levels

After the unplanned tank mining experience, I find myself a number a floors down below the fort in a cistern. I encounter the glowing orb thing again and it shows me to a path at the bottom of the cistern. I just have to figure out how to get down there.

Carrying on from where I left off, I’m still in the main building in the Fort and have my first proper encounter with the monsters. I finally manage to make radio contact with the other survivors I head back outside and have to figure out a way through the fortress gates. After finding a handy tank devoid of any ammunition, I head to the armoury and gather the ingredients to make my own tank shell

Now inside the fort, I have a quick look around before heading into the main building after hearing the radio calling from there. I manage to fix the lift and also have my first (non-scripted) panic attack.

In this episode I manage to finally locate Salim, it… doesn’t go well. Also I make a shocking discovery and find out my character pregnant. I also make my way back to the surface and head towards a fort.

Following on from finding the survivors camp, I head deeper into the caves following Salim’s trail. I eventually find I’m wearing a strange trinket that has the ability to open paths to some alien world.

In this part, I’m Tasi Traianon, travelling on a plane that crashes into the desert, waking up some time later in the wreckage with no memory of what happened. I head out into the desert trying to find my missing companions. Eventually I come across some caves and find a camp set up by the survivors, unfortunately I find some of there remains as well
